Timothy Hillmer, a local author (“Ravenhill”) and educator also used to work as a river guide and based his first novel (“Hookmen”) on his river experiences. He believes that everyone has stories to tell, but they just need to believe in themselves as writers. In this writing workshop, Tim will work on helping teens write about their past “territories” to find experiences that can be turned into writing.
